You can request a stop payment on either a check or ACH draft through WebBanking. For a check, click on "Stop Pay" from the left side of the screen. Once you submit your request, the stop payment will automatically be in place and the $30.00 stop payment fee will be deducted from your account. This page can be used to stop one check. If you have a series of checks you wish to stop, please contact us either through Live Chat or by calling Member Services at (336) 774-3400 or (800) 782-4670.
To place a stop payment on and ACH draft, click on "Secure Forms" from the top of the screen. From there, click on "Stop Payment Request for Pre-Authorized Drafts (ACH)." You will need to provide the exact dollar amount that you wish to stop to prevent the transaction from posting to your account. Once you submit the application, it will be processed within 24 business hours. You will receive a confirmation email notifying you that the stop payment has been added and the $30.00 stop payment fee will be deducted from your account.
